Builders is a leading retailer of DIY and building materials with 96 stores throughout South Africa, as well as 5 stores in Botswana, Mozambique, and Zambia. As a subsidiary of Massmart, Builders’ profitable stores were bought by the group, which also acquired other stores throughout the country, making Builders the most successful retailer of building materials in the country.
There are four types of Builders: Builders Warehouse, selling a full range of goods in main urban areas. Builders Superstores serve rural areas. Builders Express are smaller stores that still offer great value to customers looking to make improvements in their homes and gardens, and Builders Trade Depot, which caters for the needs of contractors and entrepreneurs with prices to suit every budget.
The products available at each store include doors, paint, tools, tiles, patio furniture, and other DIY items. The DIY & garden builders warehouse range is particularly popular as it offers customers with the best quality products on the market.
